Top 40 Songs of 2012: All The Young – The Horizon

#Top40Songs2012 by Sam Skilton
Touted as the next big up and coming British band, All The Young proved in 2012 that they are more than Oasis wannabees with Morrissey-style quiffs. With comparisons being thrown around left, right and centre, the Stoke quartet let the music do the talking. Debut album ‘Welcome Home’ is a ten track eruption of deafening rock and roll, and it is a breath of fresh air in an indie-pop dominated alternative rock scene. Equally as powerful live as on record, ‘The Horizon’ and its memorable guitar riffs could be a genuine contender for the most underrated song of the year.
