Top 40 Songs of 2012: Twisted Wheel – Ride

#Top40Songs2012 by Sam Skilton
Jonny Brown has been on what can only be described as a rollercoaster ride over the past few years. The Twisted Wheel frontman led the line as his band supported the likes of Kasabian, The Enemy, Oasis and Paul Weller in 2009, before the self-titled release of their debut album. Since then the trio has changed somewhat with Rick Lees and Adam Clark of the original line-up having been replaced by Eoghan Clifford and Stephen Evans. While their early offerings were as in-your-face as an angry Rottweiler, ‘Ride’ is more subdued. But Jonny’s vocals are as distinctive as ever. It’s another top tune.
Released: 01 October 2012
Label: Self-Released
