Welsh rockers Stereophonics have announced that they are set to release their eighth studio album ‘Graffiti on the Train’ later this year.
The LP, which features an oil painting by British artist Stephen Goddard as its cover art, will be available from 4th March on the band’s own label, Stylus Records.
Produced by frontman Kelly Jones and Jim Lowe, who has worked with the band since 2005, the record features the track ‘In A Moment’ which was released towards the end of 2012 as a free download.
Of Stereophonics’ seven albums to date, only two have failed to make it to number one in the charts. Their 1997 debut ‘Word Gets Around’ peaked at number six, while most recent offering ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ only reached number 11 in 2009.
But Jones revealed that everybody involved enjoyed producing the record, and will no doubt be hoping to fare better this time around.
